Found what I was not looking

I felt to stop at this point
My eyes drifted upward

And over my head the sky is strewn
A soft orange blanket weightless and warm
Oh how I wish I could yank it down
and wrap it around my shoulders
But it’s too far to grasp
So I just stare and imagine

the realm of not knowing and imagining is beautiful
Everything is strangely peaceful there

And beneath my feet the grass is flattened
Lying serenely beneath the weight of my world
Graciously being with my tired feet
And I thanked them for the comfort
How did I reach here?
I have been wandering aimlessly

I had found it everything
Although I had not been looking for it
